Ok maybe the title of this post  should be titled “another reason I love Hautelook”. Loving the new additions to the RDRB HQ – so I will leave the title as it is. If you want more information about Hautelook – the what, the how, the why – you can read about it here.  Now, back to Diptyque.

Diptyque is a luxury French brand, that is very talked about the blogging community. When I was in Paris a few years ago, I got a chance to go into the Diptyque store, but the price tag on the products were beyond what I was willing to pay for an expendable product – so I tried some of the fragrances and walked away. 

 A few weeks ago, some Diptyque products were on offer on Hautelook for 50 to 60 percent off; with that discount, I thought it was time to take the plunge and give it a try. I picked up a candle set in the Figuier scent.  – individually over $100, but offered for less than $50 and let me just let the cat out of the bag – The scent is as amazing as everyone say.  There are no words to describe how amazing this smells. The scent fills the room even without lighting it up.  I burn it for a  few minutes and the scent lingers for hours. This is most luxurious candle (scratch that), the most luxurious product I own and I absolutely agree with everyone’s rave about the brand. The brand also does skincare and fragrances. I did not pick up any skincare items, but I picked up one of the fragrances and it is equally as good (more on that in another post).

 Diptyque returns to Hautelook today - so it's a good time to check it out if you curious. A very short post today - perhaps you were interested (or intrigued by the hype), but not willing to splurge a $100 on a candle – thought I would share a cheaper alternative to adding Diptyque to your life.
