SOUTH BEACH MIAMI <> MIAMI , FLORIDA
I am in Denver today, and the forecast predicts a high of 36 degrees - it feels like 25 degrees. This cold temp has me daydreaming of the beach and sunshine. Specifically, my time of sun and relaxation in Miami last fall. Getting to Miami was not a pleasant experience, but once I arrived and saw the view of the beach from my hotel room, the unpleasant nonsense was forgotten.
After spending some time exploring Little Havana, I returned to the hotel and beach where I spent most of my time in Miami. I picked my spot and let time pass me by switching from naps to reading and listening to the waves. Nothing beats the feel of sand between the toes and the sound of waves crashing onto the shore.
When I was not laying on the beach, I took walks along the beach and gathered seashells to add to my collection. I took several pictures on my morning and evening walks. My favorite moment captured was watching the sunrise. It was incredible. Here are a few snapshots of my time on the beach.
