THE WEEKEND LIST , 11
Hello!
I took a short hiatus because sometimes you have just got to walk away. So much has happened in the world since we last caught up in this weekend space; the UK looks like is heading back towards lockdown; an icon took a final bow, and climate change continues to scream - “I’m real,” but some of us don’t seem to be hearing. That coupled with whatever you have had to battle this week to get to this point. With all of that, I completely understand if you want to stay in bed all day with covers pulled over your head - I know I want to. If you choose that or if you have found the strength to get up today - here are few reads from the week to keep you Company; some recipes and products I am loving and a travel guide for your consideration for those of us that can travel.
I loved reading this tribute to one of my heroes - Notorious RBG.
Two dumplings recipes by Joy the Baker that will get me through fall - Chicken and Pumpkin dumplings and Black-eyed peas with cornbread dumplings.
Voting in the age of COVID - a state by state guide.
Basel, Switzerland - If you have visited, you know how enchanting and unforgettable it is; if not, let this post convince you.
Wine expert responds to wine questions you always wanted to ask - yes, even that one about which wine glass to use for red vs. white wine.
I was not planning to have a fall bucket list until I read the Everygirl’s fall bucket-list and Steph’s fall bucket list - I think I might jot a few things down for the fall.
They say laughter is the best medicine, and Elsa Majimbo delivers the laughs consistently - you should be following her on Instagram.
Everyone is talking about this Netflix documentary, and it is on my weekend to-do list - have you seen it.
Trader Joe’s fall arrivals ranked from best to worst - I am adding the Spiced side and Pecan Pumpkin oatmeal might make it to my shopping cart this week.
