A Belly Slimming Water Detox to try ?
Thanks to engagements, birthdays, weddings, births - I have been stuffing my face with carbs and pastries for the last month. None of which help with the current muffin top situation. With an upcoming maid of honor duty in about three weeks, followed by a quick detour for a beach vacation, it was time to get started on tackling the muffin top - My usual routine of stomach crunches, cutting off meals at 7 p.m. are already in the works, but when I saw this recipe for a natural belly water detox on the Blogilates website - I had to give it a try. The recipe boasts to help detox and de-bloat; I made one tweak to the orignal recipe and I have been lapping this up in droves for the last day and half and plan to continue until I head to the airport in about two weeks.
What you need
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1/2 a cucumber, sliced
- half a lemon, sliced
- Basil (or mint) leaves
Combine all in a contain, add filtered/bottled water , chill in fridge for a few hours , drink up and hello flater belly ? (Maybe? , possibly?). I will report back on whether it did anything for the ole muffin top situation. Even if it does nothing for the muffin top, it is super hydrating and its motivated my increased water intake - so I got no compliants.
