The Day I became a Painter
Ha - got your attention with that title - didn't I ?
A few weekends ago, I met up with a group of amazing ladies to celebrate a friend's bachelorette party. We began the festivities with a painting class at painting with a twist. The idea behind painting with a twist is that even a creatively challenged person (like myself) can create something worth hanging up (with a some paint, brushes and guidelines from a pro). I have heard so many great things about this place, so I was glad to be able to attend. Painting with a twist is located across the country , with the option for a private class or general class at $35 per person. We were booked for a private party and the guest of honor had pre-selected the inspiration painting. Easel, paint and brushes were laid out for everyone and with directions from our instructors we got to work creating our masterpiece (maybe not a masterpeice as you would imagine , but for a creative noob as myself - a masterpiece).
