Broccoli Cranberry Walnut Salad

Summer is here and with that a new summer food series.

Last summer, I did a weekly smoothie series - which I loved. This year I am switching things up with the summer menu. A collection of summer meals that are refreshing and guarantee minimal time in the kitchen. This will run twice a month through the end of summer. Hope you enjoy it.

My summer menu philosophy is this - its got to be light, quick, easy and delicious. With summer temps tipping over 100 degree in Texas - ain't nobody got time to be in the kitchen for an extended period. That is why I loooooove this recipe.

Its broccoli, cranberry, walnut and crisp bacon finely chopped. oh !  how can I forget the chai seed, for garnish. The combination of all these makes for a very delicious, healthy meal that takes about 20 minutes to whip up and will be a hit with anyone sharing your dinner table
