THE WEEKEND LIST , 8 | TAKING A BREAK

Le village sur la mer.jpg

For the first time in a long time, this week, I logged off from work before 7 p.m., had dinner away from my laptop, and just had a proper work-free evening. My Company gave everyone the day off yesterday to rest and relax - I did just that! I had no idea how much I needed that until I had it. I slept in, spent time meditating, called friends and family, caught up on my K-drama watch list, did some writing, and started reading a new book. It was EVERYTHING my soul needed (and more).

Here are a few things that have been the cherry on top of this lovely week :

Two words - DANIEL! KALUUYA! - You have got to see the trailer for the upcoming Judas and the Black Messiah. Daniel Kaluuya plays Fred Hampton - chills.

Viola Davis’s VNF cover is still one of the best covers of the decade/century; in my opinion - the cover story is even better.

Twenty healthy midnight snacks because I have been eating my weight in food the last month and the hours between 10 p.m. and midnight are the worse.

If you have not already reached the bottom of Netflix in the quarantine - here is a ranking of the best Netflix original movies. I watched some of these yesterday.

The Everygirl has done us all a favor and put together this state by state guide to mail-in voting. Irrespective of whom you decide to vote for, please vote.

The Nordstrom’s annual sale is now open to the public and every fashion and fashion adjacent blogger has got their list of favorite items from the sale. I really loved Steph Jolly’s N Sale List round-up.

I treated myself to the black madewell remi mules from the N sale - in love !
